Welcome to my personal website. This site has been created to show my interest in birdwatching and all that surrounds it. I first got into birding when I was about 6, when I got given 'The Observers book of Birds' by my grandparents, since then there's been no stopping me! I can remember finding Aquatic Warbler in Cornwall and seeing Snowy Owl in Lincolnshire when I was just 9. I have a great interest in photography and birding abroad, hoping to see and photograph some great birds so have a look at my new pages showing some photographs. Please email me your comments. Enjoy!

UPDATED - 28th January 2006
Asia Update 2005 has been updated with my latest 7 month stint around the far east. Regular updates on sightings page too

Latest Features

Foreign Bird Photographs - Several pages dedicated to various parts of the world I've visited, showing many of the highlights from those regions, including some rarely observed species

Sightings - Click the link in the top corner for my latest sightings, mainly from the Trent valley area in Derbyshire, including photographs taken over the years within the county

Rare British Birds - Click on the link to view some of my favourite photographs taken over the years in Britain of rare or rarer birds.

Trip Reports - Again, click on the link to view my trip reports, and maybe some from others, several are still being produced. These reports range from Europe, America, India and Asia. See my new pages showing my photographs from these places

Fauna - View various images from my butterfly and dragonfly collection, mainly taken in Britain. Also images of other wildlife I have observed over my travels, how can I forget the Blue Whale crashing down no more than 50 yards from our boat in California, or the moose sitting on the road in Arctic Canada or even Orang Utans creating umbrellas out of leaves in Borneo to keep them dry?!
