The Peakers Stroll is held annually on the first Sunday of July, and can be walked or run as a 25, 17, 13 or 9 mile route.  The Stroll takes in fantastic views of the Peak National Park including Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Win Hill, Ladybower, Edale, and Castleton.

This website is intended to give the visitor a taster of what The Peakers Stroll is about and hopefully encourage walkers and runners from far and wide to try it for themselves.  The scenery is spectacular at times and is worth the entry fee alone.

The Peakers Stroll started life in 1988 and was originally staged by a group of locals from the village of Peak Forest in the county of Derbyshire, England where the event starts and finishes.  It is now organised by volunteers from the nearby Tideswell Male Voice Choir.

There is a modest entry fee but all proceeds made over costs are given to local charities, so as well as being a wonderful day out The Peakers Stroll also gives something back to the community.
