Dundee is on the east coast of Scotland and provides some great sea fishing from shore & boat within a 1hrs drive north or south.
Spieces caught in the River Tay are Flounder,Sea Trout ,Cod,Coalfish,Whiting,Etc.Plus Occastional Bass.
Baits used are Ragworm,Lugworm,Peeler Crab "season premiting",Herring/Mackerel strips.
Abroath is just 17 miles north of dundee with boat fishing in the summer and winter shore fishing for cod where double figures are common.
Baits used are Lugworm,Ragworm,Squid,Mussels etc.
There is B&B and camping/carvan sites near by.

A bit about myself , my name is Jason and i mainly fish the River Tay area & boat fishing at Arbroath in Scotland with my angling friend Brian. I use the name Sultzer & Brian's is Fathersmurf on the fishing forums we use ,  links to them are on the link page.
I am a pleasure angler which i do try to release 90%+ of my catches , I am trying to build on my species list i catch .
Now a member of the Jedi Sea Angling Club Scotland. Also a local club Tight Lines Fishing Club
So if you see me down at wall just come over for a chat .

Permits for salmon & sea trout fishing from Dundee area are now available from Tayside House in the city centre priced £1 which covers from  1/01/08 to 15/10/08
The map also show my main fishing area of Dundee & Fife marks
 


There is a WSF meet Riverside Drive Dundee - Oct 12th - 9am snack bar
Also sick kids comp - riverside drive , dundee - 2nd nov - registration 9-10 am 
meets are from the shore and is opened to anyone so come along for a chat.

fishing tayport lighthouse good fish 3 trout 2 flounder herring is a must .just before high tide cast up stream 6oz lead gripper .beware tide rip very strong need long cast .

Great site and info. Just got back into fishing after an absence of over 30 years !!!!!
As I'm a Dundonian the local info helps a lot. Been fishing from Riverside out as far as Auchmithie over the last 2 weeks but not caught anything yet (bait Lug and squid). I'll keep on casting.....
